Position Information
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department, in collaboration with the Riverside Community College, and the College of the Desert seek qualified candidates to instruct Administration of Justice courses at the Ben Clark Training Center in Riverside and the College of the Desert in Palm Desert.
Riverside Community College Adjunct Instructor Information
- Entry Level Rate $47.12 - $61.15 per instructional hour
Educational requirements for consideration:
Possession of an Associates degree and 6-years law enforcement experience.
Or
Possession of a Bachelors degree and 2-years law enforcement experience.
Or (equivalency acceptance)
At the discretion of Riverside Community College, a combination of college coursework, work experience and expertise in a specific training area may be applied to satisfy entry-level requirements. This evaluation will be conducted by a designated equivalency review committee.
Completion of a POST certified Academy Instructor Certification Course prior to any classroom instruction.
College of the Desert Adjunct Instructor Information
- Entry Level Rate $36.43 - $47.56

All interested parties will be required to complete the candidate interest card prior to being considered. The purpose is to evaluate the prospective applicant's qualifications. The interest card will be evaluated by personnel assigned to the Ben Clark Training Center. No phone calls will be accepted in lieu of submitting a candidate interest card.
